Since you subscribe to this newsletter, I'm going to assume you've heard about the upcoming Windows 8 OS. I'm going to assume you know a bit about the integrated Windows Store for apps and, of course, the touch-friendly Metro interface. I'm also going to assume you know that Windows 8 still isn't here yet. In fact, reports say it won't see the light of day until late this year.
But relax, there's good news. Thanks to a nifty app called Metro7, you can try the Windows 8 Metro interface ahead of time, for free. Though it's not an official Microsoft build, the Metro7 interface is definitely a nice representation, with its geometric, minimalist style.
